Who We Are

EDU Grade Calculator is a free online grading tool built by educators, for educators. We understand that teachers spend an enormous amount of time on administrative tasks — calculating percentages, converting scores to letter grades, writing individual student comments, and compiling class data into spreadsheets. Our mission is simple: eliminate that friction so teachers can spend more time doing what they do best — teaching.

We are a small, passionate team of educators and developers who have spent time in real classrooms and understand what grading actually looks like in practice. We did not build a generic calculator and call it a teacher tool. We built something that mirrors the real workflow of a working teacher, from the moment a test is graded to the moment that data lands in a gradebook.

Why We Built This

The idea for EDU Grade Calculator came from a straightforward frustration: why does grading still require four separate tools? A calculator for percentages. A reference sheet for letter grades. A notepad for student comments. A spreadsheet for class averages. None of these tools talk to each other, and teachers are the ones doing all the manual work in between.
